The MoorNet conference in Bonn will focus on synergies and conflicting objectives in connection with the rewetting of degraded and near-natural peatlands. On 20 and 21 September 2024, the AgriKultur Festival took place in Berlin for the first time. In beautiful late summer weather, around 600 people came together in Berlin-Friedrichshain to learn and exchange ideas about regional agriculture and food. "The festival became a lively place of exchange, a two-day think tank," explain the organizers Annabella Jakab (Netzwerk Flächensicherung e. V.) and Sebastian Rogga (ZALF e. V.).

In the second series of workshops within AMAREX, the first prototype of an online tool for assessing the potential of rainwater management measures was discussed with stakeholders in Cologne and Berlin. Around 30 participants discussed the topic of "Resilience and Climate Adaptation for the North and Baltic Seas and their Estuaries" at the expert dialogue.
