On 30 April 2020, the project hosted its first webinar "Insights from the COACCH project I: Climate change impacts on agriculture, forestry, fisheries and coastal areas" and focuses on sectoral economic assessments.

Speakers were Esther Boere, IIASA and Daniel Lincke, Global Climate Forum (GCF) with discussion from Benjamin Bodirsky, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), moderated by Paul Watkiss (Paul Watkiss Associates).

More information can be found on the CMCC's webinar website.

A second webinar will focus on "Climate impacts on labor productivity and energy" and will be held on 14 May 2020.

The objective of the COACCH project (CO-designing the Assessment of Climate CHange costs) is to produce improved downscaled assessment of the economic costs of climate change in Europe. As part of dissemination activities, the COACCH project is organising a series of webinars on emerging results. The series will include four episodes, starting from Spring 2020 until Spring 2021. Ecologic Institute has an important involvement in stakeholder engagement and the overall co-design process of the project.
