The Hydromorphology IV Workshop on the topic "Administrative and practical implementation of watercourse development measures" took place as an online workshop. The central objective of the Hydromorphology IV Workshop was to exchange experiences and information and to identify and reflect on challenges of the administrative and practical implementation processes of watercourse development measures.

The workshop was part of a workshop series on hydromorphology hosted by the Federal Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt – UBA) and was organized with the support of Ecologic Institute and Planungsbüro Zumbroich.

The workshops take place every 4 years and are designed in cooperation with the Expert Group on hydromorphology of the "Working Group on water issues" (Bund/Länder-Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wasser – LAWA). They bring together stakeholders from water management administrations, nature and environmental protection associations, scientists, engineering companies and experts to exchange information and experiences.
