German Environment Agency 2024: Correct disposal of leftover medicines in. Poster. Online: umweltbundesamt.de
Many people think that old medicines should always be disposed of via pharmacies. Providing information about the applicable disposal methods, which vary from region to region, takes time in the pharmacy. The poster "Correct disposal of leftover medicines in: ...." is intended to ease the burden on staff by providing disposal information in writing on the sales floor. Other useful locations for the poster could include doctors' surgeries, hospitals, health advice centers, health insurance companies or waste disposal companies.
The name of the independent city or district can be handwritten on the poster and the correct disposal routes can be ticked. The address of the nearest recycling center can also be entered. The poster also contains the important message that leftover medication should never be disposed of in the wastewater.
The poster can be ordered free of charge from the Federal Environment Agency website in DIN A1 size (59.4 x 84.1 cm), but you can also print it out yourself in a different size. The texts are clearly legible up to a size of DIN A3 (30 x 42 cm). There is a German and an international version of the poster. The international version contains information in English, French, Polish, Turkish, Russian and Arabic.
