Ecologic Institute conceived and designed several infographics for the update of the Strategy for Adaptation to Climate Change in Baden-Württemberg. These visualise some of the thematised climate impacts on the various fields of action and support the understanding of the content. The infographics are designed in accordance to the project's style guidelines.
They illustrate
- the development of an urban heat island and its mitigation through construction planning measures,
- the effects of low water on watercourses,
- climate-related damage using the example of the potato plant,
- habitat fragmentation of biospaces due to climate change,
- the negative impact of extreme weather events on healthy soil and
- multifunctional measures for a blue-green-grey infrastructure.
