On behalf of the MLUK, we cordially invite you to the market information event 'Value chains for organic grain from Brandenburg' on 22 October 2024 from 09:30 to 16:00. 

The aim of the event is to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the regional processing and marketing of organic grain from Brandenburg. At the event, you will also learn about new initiatives and co-operations that want to promote the topic of regional marketing.

When: Tuesday, 22 October 2024

Where: Heimvolkshochschule at Seddiner See, Seeweg 2, 14554 Seddiner See

Target group: conventional and organic farms and all stakeholders along the grain value chain

Programme

• Morning: The first part of the programme will focus on presentations and field reports from stakeholders along the entire value chain – from producers to grain trading and purchasing (also by producer groups) to processing and marketing by mills, bakeries, retailers and growers' associations.
• Afternoon: This will be followed by in-depth practical workshops in the afternoon, which will focus on the exchange of experiences on successful cooperation between producers and mills and discuss (new) marketing channels for organic grain.

Participation in the event is free of charge. Free catering will also be provided.
