Ecologic Institute 2022: Absolute und anteilige Bypassdotationen im Atlas. Infographic published in: Keuneke, Rita; Edith Massmann and Stephan Naumann 2022: Fischschutz- und Fischabstiegsmaßnahmen – Praxisbeispiele im Überblick. This infographic summarizes the information on build-out flow and bypass flow at sites entered in the Atlas Fish Protection & Downstream Fish. The proportionate flow rate corresponds to the percentage of the bypass flow rate in relation to the development flow rate. The absolute amount of bypass dotation covers a spectrum from a few liters to over 2 m³/s. While there is a rather linear correlation between development flow and absolute bypass dotation, it becomes clear that the percentage of bypass dotation in the development flow is often high at low development flow, while it decreases with increasing development flow. The data entries for the percentage of bypass flow in the expansion flow flow range from 0.15 to 12.9 %. The infographic is part of a fact sheet on fish protection and downstream fish migration measures.
