On 21 April 2016, the final conference of the EU-FP7 funded project “POLIMP” took place in Brussels. How can climate policies be designed, what impacts do they have and what other options are there? These are important questions to stakeholders and policy-makers. The project POLIMP aims at making answers to these issues more easily accessible and understandable. To this end, POLIMP examines knowledge gaps for different policy and decision making levels and covers these with the help of existing research results.

The fifth POLIMP webinar featured a discussion on the topic: "After Paris: Implications of the Paris Agreement for EU climate policy" moderated by Ecologic Institute's Head of Climate, Matthias Duwe. Dr. Camilla Bausch (Director, Ecologic Institute) and Andrzej Błachowicz (Managing Director, Climate Strategies) assessed the main outcomes of the Paris negotiations and discussed what they could mean for the future of EU climate policy going forward. The third webinar in our POLIMP Webinar Series took place on 28 October 2015 and featured a discussion on the topic "EU Climate Policy for 2030: why are we talking about governance?" moderated by Matthias Duwe (Head, Climate at Ecologic Institute).
