German Federal State Exchange Program "Climate Protection" - Seventh Meeting

Event
Date
Location
Hannover, Germany

Climate protection activities and adaptation measures face several barriers that need to be broken down to achieve local climate protection goals. In this regard, regular meetings have been held to serve as an exchange platform for current developments in local climate protection and individual strategic projects.

The 7th meeting took place on 6 November 2014 in the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Protection of Lower Saxony in Hanover.

One key issue of the meeting was the development of a communication framework. Modifications to the communication framework in 2014 were presented, and the participants had the opportunity to give suggestions on the amendment in 2015/2016. Also, workshop participants discussed regional climate legislation. Furthermore, four strategic projects to support local climate protection were presented and discussed.
