Dominic Marcellino, Fellow at Ecologic Institute Washington DC, was invited to give a presentation on EU environmental policy to a group of U.S. Department of State diplomats as part of their training prior to work in the EU. On 25 July 2012, Dominic led a 90 minute discussion with 20 diplomats; his presentation focused on the EU’s climate change and energy policy. After giving a European overview, he went into detail about Germany’s domestic policies to meet its climate and energy objectives.
