Framework Agreement: Advising the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on Energy Policies

The framework agreement with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy includes support in economic, technical and legal issues in the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy sources for heating and cooling systems and waste heat, among others. Together with a broad and experienced network of partners led by the German Energy Agency (dena) Ecologic Institute contributes to answering the questions with a focus on:
- European Energy Policy, in particular the further development of the Renewable-Energy-Directive, strategic orientation of the EU Energy- and Climate-Policy as well as EU Governance and requirements in regard to the EU Heating and Cooling Strategy,
- Regulatory Law and taxes/duties in the area of energy efficiency and renewable energy, and
- Energy Efficiency, in particular relating to consumer behaviour.
