Europe and the European Union are facing profound changes and the importance of environmental policy is growing. In response to this, Daimler-Benz Research & Technology has asked Ecologic to prepare a report on trends in European environmental policy.

The report is part of a bigger project of Daimler-Benz that aims at assessing future developments in European environmental policy and identifying the respective influences on transport policy and concepts of mobility by 2020. In this context Ecologic prepared a literature study and conducted expert interviews.
