On 1 September 2010, Ecologic Institute celebrated its 15th anniversary along with 200 other guests in the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences (BBAW). In addition to Ecologic's fifteen years, there were other reasons to celebrate: Ecologic Institute was awarded its 50th research project from the European Commission, "InContext – Supportive environments for sustainable living" and just hired its 100th employee, Prof. Dr. Christoph Stefes.
