The Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) and Ecologic Institute are expanding the Beyond GDP website. The IEEP takes care of managing new content as well as the design of the newsletter. The Ecologic Institute is responsible for the graphical and technical development of the Beyond GDP website and is responsible for incorporating the content changes into the code base and sending the updates.

 

In 2007, the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Club of Rome, the OECD and the WWF organized a conference to discuss the ways in which wealth and progress can be improved. For this purpose, the Ecologic Institute created and supervised the conference website, which was then redesigned into an information platform on indicators and prosperity measurement. This site has been managed by various partners in the past and finally transferred to the Commission's EUROPA server. The Ecologic Institute chaired the project team, which was charged with organizing the conference.
