On 1-2 November 2010, Stephan Sina, Senior Fellow at Ecologic Legal, and Christiane Gerstetter, Fellow at Ecologic Legal, held a seminar on current issues in German and European environmental law at the Verwaltungsakademie Berlin.

Current developments in legislation and the judiciary were presented to nearly twenty participants from Berlin’s various environmental agencies. In particular, the event covered general environmental law, climate protection and environmental energy law, emissions law, waste law, water protection law as well as soil and environmental conservation law. The Berlin Academy of Public Administration is the primary institute for training and continuing education for civil servants in the German federal state of Berlin.
