Ecologic | Social-ecological research (SÖF projects)
Social-ecological research (Sozial-ökologische Forschung, SÖF) is a concept developed by the German Ministry of Education and Research that aims to promote ecological transformation of society while simultaneously improving social justice and economic conditions. SÖF research programmes support transdisciplinary approaches for analysing complex sustainability problems and developing practice-oriented solutions.
Currently, two Ecologic projects are funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research under social-ecological research programmes:
|
EPOS - Evaluating Policies for Sustainable Development |
|
InEG - Global Environmental Governance and International Environmental Regimes |
