Governance

Governance

Ecologic Institute has focused on the field of governance since its inception in 1995. We conduct in-depth analyses of institutions: their compositions, mandates, and internal structures are often at the heart of our work.

The Institute's work centers around many political processes. As one of our core areas of expertise, Ecologic Institute assesses and evaluates various UN or EU governance mechanisms in a broad range of environmental policy-making areas. With its research work, the team actively contributes to the governance of various political processes in the EU and in Germany, mostly at federal level, sometimes at regional or local level.
