Ecologic Institute

Before joining the Ecologic Institute, Dominik Müller worked for a Berlin-based law firm specializing in Energy and Climate Protection Law. His work focused mainly on questions of Renewable Energies Law and Energy Management Legislation. Prior to this he worked for the German federal inward investment agency, consulting foreign companies on relevant aspects of German law including the legal framework on renewable energies.

Dominik Müller was admitted to the bar in Berlin in June 2008. In his studies at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster, the University of Sheffield, Queen’s University Belfast and National University of Ireland in Galway, he focused on European and international Law. Through a side subject during his studies he also acquired basic knowledge of English law. Dominik Müller holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in human rights and criminal justice law from both Queen’s University Belfast and National University of Ireland in Galway.

In the course of his Postgraduate Judicial Service Training in North Rhine-Westphalia, Dominik Müller studied at the German University of Administrative Science in Speyer, where he focused on legislative procedure frameworks both on the national and on the European level. Dominik Müller completed internships at the German Embassy in Ottawa,a law firm in London and a non-governmental organization in Belfast.
