Germany's Ecological Tax Reform is having the intended effect. Despite criticism from business and politics, the  ecotax has positive effects on the economy and the environment. These are the results of surveys and analyses presented on 16 November 2004 in Berlin. The study was conducted by Ecologic and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) on behalf of the German Federal Environmental Agency (UBA).
