  1. Pills in the Water Cycle: What we can do about it – Animated Video

What can consumers, medical staff, researchers, members of water boards, and politicians do to reduce the input of pharmaceutical residues at the source? This short film illustrates how all involved stakeholders can contribute jointly to solutions. Rodrigo Vidaurre and Melanie Kemper of Ecologic Institute advised the producers of the short film, as it builds upon the video "The Drugs We Wash Away: Pharmaceuticals, Drinking Water and the Environment" that was created by the Ecologic Institute in 2013.

  2. Investigating Options for Different Compliance Systems for PEF and OEF Declarations – Publication

Determining environmental impacts of products is complex. In this study, BIO IS, the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) and the Ecologic Institute investigated approaches for verifying that claims made by companies on the environmental properties of products or their own overall environmental performance are correct. The study was commissioned by the European Commission, DG Environment. The Ecologic Institute contributed an analysis on the law of the World Trade Organziation, as it applies to relevant policy measures. The study is available for download.

  5. Commission Proposal on Energy Governance and Electricity Infrastructure Measures – Workshop

What shape will the future governance framework of European climate and energy policy take? The proposal submitted by the European Commission at the beginning of this year raises more questions than it answers in this regard. Dr. Camilla Bausch and Christine Lucha of the Ecologic Institute invited experts to a workshop to discuss the meaning of the commission's suggestions with a particular view toward electricity infrastructure. All presentation slides are available for download.
